Best of luck! Local or general anesthesia? Don't forget that general anesthesia takes a while to work off. Plan on sleeping (even though I know you'll want to be knitting and reading). Here's wishing a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

Katy

Good luck with your surgery & recuperation. I hope you get some time to read & relax once you are feeling up to it!
Marian Keyes is one of my guilty pleasures, too. ;)

Denise

Well..I hope it all goes well and you are bouncing back quickly!
I was going to get Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close when I went to Maine. But I didn't have time to get out to get it. I will wait for your review.. ;)
Have fun eating lots of ice cream!

Kelly

Good luck with your surgery. It looks like you will have alot of great reading to help you recuperate.
I'm reading a million little pieces right now and so far it's a really good book.

Jennifer

I hope it all goes well for you and you recuperate well and quickly!

liz

Mmmm ice cream...I don't need these tonsils, do I?

Good luck, happy resting!

caitlyn

Hi Julie,
I hope it all goes well tomorrow!! It will all be over soon.
I really liked reading "Nickeled and Dimed" too.

Jan

Best of luck to you, Julie, for an uneventful operation and a smooth & speedy recovery. I'll be thinking of you.

Norma

Get well soon! I'll be thinking of you. Aren't you supposed to have ice cream after tonsils out? I don't eat ice cream as a rule, but for this, I would.

Michelle

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts tomorrow. I'm wishing you a fast and happy recovery!

Joan

Good luck and happy reading. I hope you have a fast recovery.

Maria

Good luck tomorrow!
I know that it'll all go well and you'll be back blogging for us in no time!
Maria

Good luck tomorrow!!

Aimee

Good Luck with the surgery Julie! Please tell me the truth on how the experience goes. I know you will feel much better after those tonsils are out and you can get back on your feet. You are my "guinea pig" to see if I should bring it up to the ENT and go through with it!!!!! Take care!

KarenK

Hi Julie -- good luck with the surgery! And here's yet another suggestion for a good recuperation book (if you haven't read it yet, ask someone to go out and get it for you!): "The Time-Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. Best wishes.

Annie

Good luck!

AmyP

I just wanted to wish you good luck!

Jenn

I think those are all excellent choices! I really liked White Teeth and like Marian Keyes. The Foer book is good, but I like Everything is Illuminated better. The Man just finished reading A Million Little Pieces and loved it. Feel better soon!

Karen

Good luck with your surgery Julie. Before you know it, it will only be a memory!

delia

Sending good thoughts your way! Hope all goes well!

Good luck! I hope everything goes smoothely and that you have a quick and painless recovery.

Laurie

I'm sending you wishes for a fast recovery, little pain and lots of ice cream.

claudia

Esther

Good luck with your procedure and I hope you feel better real soon ;-)
