"Guaranteed"

My short piece "Guaranteed" has been politely declined by The First Line so, as promised, I have posted it here. Oh, well. Onward.

It's a good story. It'd be cool to read another version from the broker's point of view.

Not a bad idea. The "morally bankrupt broker" viewpoint could be fun to write. Maybe you'd like to collaborate?

I wonder how that would work. Wait, I know. I'll start writing and continue until I get to the end of a cigarette (I happen to have 100s, so I should be able to do a lot). Then I'll email it to you and you can do the same, or if you don't smoke you can do as much as you can in an equitable amount of time. I'll keep the details of the story the same as your original. Cool!
