. . . what I got!

Aprons! Aprons! And even more aprons!

Spike had to get into the photo. He thought this was actually a cat toy -- or at least the apron strings!

Gotta have a fancy one for the holidays.

Can you even stand this one? I just love this owl so much that I want to frame it and hang it on the wall.
So even though this was all I got in our trek across town (we visited three different shops), I felt pretty darn lucky. And how can you beat the price? I saw aprons that weren't even this nice at an antique fair last summer going for $10-15 each. The nice ones were fetching even higher prices and I saw nothing like my darling owl!
I *heart* thrifting!
I love the owl too! And it's a good one for Project Spectrum!

Is it an owl?
It reminds me of "The Partridge Family".
But still cool, nonetheless.

$2 for four aprons? Not too shabby. They're definitely cute, but I have to ask...are you going to use them?

What great aprons! My great-grandma used to collect aprons and my mom has them all packed away in a cedar chest. I think I will go pull them out just to see them again. I especially LOVE your owl.

I love vintage aprons! I have never come across one "in the wild," but a friend of mine was getting rid of one that had been in her family and I snatched it up. I actually wear it; is that part of the deal? Or are these for display? I can just see them on the clothesline whipping in the wind. :-)
