okay, it's the holidays. It's a little stressful for some. I have a raging headache myself today. But really people. Do you need to be nasty? Try some holiday cheer -- be good for goodness sake. I mean first I get this comment on the knitting blogs web ring:
Not really a public comment, but...is anybody monitoring the ring? I keep getting stranded because people are NOT posting their ring keys. Both MartaSchmarta (third link out from WendyKnits) and Unsympathetic (4 link out from Yarn Harlot) have been without ring keys for WEEKS and it's almost impossible to surf more than a few blogs before getting stuck. Sorry if I sound cranky--but with a waiting list to participate, I'd have hoped that the ones lucky enough to get into the ring would keep things up.
Thanks for being a problem instead of a solution! Happy Holidays to you too! (I am so glad that I'm getting rid of the ring right now -- sheesh!)
Then I just got a nasty email from someone else (business related, so I won't go into it here.) Please people! You are killing me! Why? Why? Why?
sigh. . .
HEY JULIE......
Merry, Merry Christmas! Hope that headache goes away. Can you believe it's only 10 days until Christmas?! Man am I excited, I can't wait, how about you? You know what the best present will be on Christmas morning? Being able to knit for me instead of working on a gift for someone else. Blessings to your and yours!

Hi Julie. Is that what I have to look forward to? :) Seriously, there seems to be far too much stress associated with these holidays. Time everyone just chills a bit. Hope the headache disappears and quickly. Happy holiday.

It is odd isn't it how the Christmas spirit for some folks manifests itself as 'the worst possible behavior'. I was tring to leave a parking lot today when a man pulled in (too fast) and had to slam on his breaks not to hit me. And yes, he yelled and called me names for being in his way. Sometimes people just suck - ya know?

Happy holidays to you! I hope you're having a nice bar of Theo chocolate, or maybe that Chocolate Ginger bar, or a mug of hot chocolate. May your days be merry and bright, and may all your troubles be out of sight!

Julie,
I don't have much to say about Christmas bad mood since I've heardly been out of the house. We're all sick around here at the house of sunshine. I would like to say that I am amazed at all the things you are able to accomplish in your life. Kid, homeschooling, business x 2, knitting, crafts, AND the blogring. Just totally amazing. Thank you for keeping the ring up for all of us for as long as you have.

I had to mail a package the other day and there were all these really pissed off people in line.(Do they not know that it is the holidays) I just struck up a friendly conversation with the nice guy behind me and the time just flew by. We hugged each other when we left and I actually think all the people were even more pissed off because we were such happy campers.
You amaze me with all you do. BUT...take care of yourself. It's not selfish, it's self love. "If mama aint happy, aint nobody happy!!"
Lots of love and blessings during this beautiful season of light

I have noticed the lack of web rings too. Because I have been trying to surf around and get stuck. I didn't know if it was different than before. I'm glad I found you blog! Merry Christmas!
