I needed a break from the endless navy blue stockinette in the round that is the Dale of Norway sweater, so I dragged out the stash and found some comfy yarn that was from an unsuccessful project that I frogged years ago. I went on Ravelry. I love Ravelry! -- so easy to use up the stash with all that info and all those projects to browse.
I chose the Burberry Inspired Cowl Neck Scarf and knit it up in just a few days. As I suspected, there were a lot of cuts in the wound up ball from that frogged project (gloves, perhaps?) so I had lots more ends to weave in than seemed possible for such a small project. The Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran is super soft and non-itchy though, so that makes it totally worth the trouble.
Here's a really terrible mirror photo of me wearing the cowl, but you get the idea. Fun little project that has me wanting to do some more cable projects.
