So, I finished up that needlework project I started a couple of weeks ago. It's from the Blackbird Designs book "Thank you, Sarah Tobias" but done in colors of my own choosing and on an old piece of linen I had in my stash. Fun to work on while watching Downton Abbey (I'm so hooked).
After I attempt to frame this, I need to get to work backing & quilting my current quilt project, and after that, who knows. I have a few ideas brewing...
Love it!! I just made a trip to the local cross stitch shop and came away with more projects than I went in needing to purchase supplies towards. It's a good thing I have to drive 45 minutes to get there, or I'd be spending a lot more money...

I really, really love that. I wish I could do needlework. Maybe I'll twist my daughter-who-does-cross stitch's arm & get her to make something like that for me. After all, I've knit her 2 slinky cowls.

Your stitching is gorgeous. Very pretty, tradtitional...almost European looking design. I really love it.
Isn't Downton Abbey to DIE for?! I can't wait for it...on tonight...eeep!
